More Sign Language Success

Posted on June 22nd, 2009

During May, another 10 more year 13 & 14 students successfully completed the BSL Sign Language level 1 qualification.  This was the culmination of 20 months of weekly classes to learn introductory sign language, conversational sign language and sign language at home and in school.

This QCA endorsed qualification is administered by the Council for the Advancement of Communication with Deaf People [CACDP] and under the expert tuition of Ms Elizabeth McAghtery, herself a member of the Deaf Community.
Congratulations to all of the students who completed their BSL Level 1 qualification during 2008/09
