Aquinas based Events

  • On Friday 9th November, all Year 10 and 12 pupils received talks from Queen’s University Belfast on their option choices. The pupils were given information about university life and subject entry requirements for a range of courses. The purpose of the talks was to encourage pupils to begin thinking about the subjects Year 10 will choose for GCSE and Year 12 will choose for AS Level in early March next year. 
  • 13th November 2pm in Aquinas School Hall CAO (Central Admissions Office – system whereby you apply to universities in the Republic of Ireland)
  • 25th February 3.20 -4.30pm in Aquinas School Hall Tour

Any pupil Year 12 -14 who is interested in studying any of the above subjects at Queens University may attend.

These events are very useful for you and your son/daughter to attend if they are thinking of applying to study any of these areas at university. You will be given an overview of what the courses in each of the faculties entail and also an indication of the employment prospects.
