It began with physics!

Physics is crucial to understanding the world around us, the world inside us, and the world beyond us. It is the most basic and fundamental science. Study physics and you learn about everything from the largest galaxies to the smallest subatomic particles!

PROGRAMME OF STUDY

In years 8 and 9 students follow a general science course where the emphasis is on developing investigative and analytical skills. In year 10 they study physics, chemistry and biology as separate subjects so that they can make a more informed choice for GCSE.
