Your son / daughter is about to embark upon a series of modules across a range of subjects at GCSE level. There are, however, a number of subject areas which do not have a module at the end of Year 11. The subjects which do not have an externally assessed module will be assessed internally at the department’s discretion. For this reason it is essential that normal class teaching runs parallel to the examinations for the duration of the Summer Term.
In order to facilitate this balance between essential study and continued class teaching the following attached arrangements have been agreed.
