As you know the school PTA had a Quiz Night with the intention of opening the school again to parents and forging good relations going forward. It was a very successful evening and we even made some money; £4,256.61 to be exact!
We were massively humbled by your generosity and in particular your support, because with this money, we intend to fund a Mobile Catering Unit for our students at lunchtime, providing hot drinks and a Merry Chef machine that makes hot sandwiches. We think they'll love it.
Thank you to the parents and staff who helped out with this event; to those of you who gave donations of cash and prizes (including many local businesses) and to the Pavilion who helped with hospitality.
We look to more PTA ventures in the next academic year.
