On the 23rd March 2023 we were delighted to host the launch of our Enthuse Partnership in collaboration with #STEMNI and funded by #STEM Learning. Our partnership is coached by Dr. Anna Monaghan who joined us on the day to sign off our STEM Ambassador Programme alongside Melissa from STEMNI who provided all with information regarding the Nuffield Placements available this summer to our Year 13 students.

The Enthuse Partnership is led by the HOD Technology & Design – Mary O’Brien and consists of a mixture of local secondary and primary schools. The Lead of the partnership is Aquinas Diocesan Grammar School, Deputy Lead is Andrew Donnelly, Rathmore Grammar School, we are also joined by Caeline Mackey, St. Louise’s Comprehensive, Lee Kelly, Edmund Rice College, Shirley McIlwaine, Belfast Royal Academy and Emma McMillen, Grosvenor Grammar School.  The Primary School Links are St. Michael’s Primary School, St.Joseph’s Primary School, Ballyhackamore & Ashgrove Primary School.

The aims of the partnership is to improve the transition of KS2 students into KS3 especially in the core knowled

ge of STEM subjects and ICT. In a world with rapid advancement in Technology we welcome the chance to avail of grants to improve the continued professional development of Technology & Design teachers. We look forward to an exciting two years of working together as a partnership.
