Aquinas Grammar

Following a plea for help from Almost Home Animal Rescue Centre (NI), that was displayed on the noticeboard in Aquinas, three pupils from 10M, Louisa Smyth, Tara Kerr and Rosa Ferguson carried out a fundraiser. On the day of the Connacht vs Ulster rugby match, Friday 4^th February 2022, they set up a table outside Louisa’s house, which is beside Kingspan Stadium. They sold discounted treats and tray bakes they had made from baking supplies that had been donated. A local printing company made a banner with the rescue centre’s name to advertise the Charity’s profile The girls raised an incredible £450 for the charity, all of which will go to support their vital work.
