On Wednesday evening, Lara Mulgrew, Lucy McCarroll, Ciara MacDermott and Grainne Sweeney all took part in the annual Soroptimist public speaking competition, competing against other Belfast schools for a place in the grand final.

All the girls did a fantastic job with their speeches, especially Lara and Lucy who were placed 1st and 2nd! Lara will now go on to compete in the final in February competing against all schools in Northern Ireland.
