BOOK WEEK NI
Book Week NI will take place during 14th – 20th October in different libraries in Northern Ireland. It is a joint initiative arising from the partnership between BBC Northern Ireland and Libraries NI and supported by the Education Authority.
The focus this year is on inspiring people of all ages to discover or rediscover the joy of reading by pledging to read for 15 minutes throughout the week.
If you would like to get involved::
Show your pledging to read for 15 minutes by uploading our pledge button to your website or social media channels.
Engage on social media
Take a selfie with a book that relates to the theme, or if you prefer take a short video clip. Then upload the photo/video to social media.
For example:
- During #BookWeekNI my #ReadFor15 is ……
- #BookWeekNI my favourite children’s book is …..
Remember to tag Libraries NI and BBC Northern Ireland using
- @LibrariesNI and @BBCnireland on Twitter
- @LibrariesNorthernIreland and @BBCNI on Facebook
