Soroptimist success third year in a row…
Ellie Bowes came first with her poetic speech ‘Ill health begins in the mind’ and Rebecca Cullen placed third with her powerful speech (including hilarious Donald Trump impressions) about immigration. Ellie will now compete in the NI final in February.
The other girls were: Kristen Murray, Ruby McKinney, Grace Nicholson and Fiona Fitzell and they also delivered outstanding speeches including Brexit and the problems faced by the next generation.
The adjudicators were blown away by our girls and commented on the exceptionally high quality of both the delivery and the content of the speeches. This is a huge achievement for all of the girls and we are all very proud!
