As part of Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary The English department escorted our Year 13 and 14 classes to the QFT for a special one-off event  with Kenneth Branagh.

Branagh, the Northern Irish actor, director, producer and screenwriter introduced his movie version of Shakespearean comedy ‘Much Ado about Nothing’ before returning for an in depth interview with INTO Film director, Adrian Wootton.  To complete the magical afternoon Aquinas’ students, Conall Hartley, and Ellen O’Neill were given the opportunity to pose questions  to  Branagh about his  longstanding career in Shakespearean adaptation and acting. Sir Kenneth regaled the audience with his humorous anecdotes, his insights into the creative industries from experience, and his passion for Shakespeare.

A fantastic experience we all gree!
