The Irish Cross Country Championships took place last Saturday in Sligo. Peter Gracey qualified for this Championship from finishing 3rd in the Ulsters mid February. This was Peters second time representing Aquinas at Irish level. This year he continued to excel finishing 16th in Ireland! This is Peters highest finishing position and contributes to all his accolades achieved this season. An amazing season for Peter! Congratulations from all at Aquinas!

As if his running success was not enough Peter was able to rub shoulders with Sonia O’Sullivan. She won silver in the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 and Gold in Gothenburg in 1995 both in the 5000M. An inspiration for Peter.
