Caoimhe Quinn Wins N. Ireland Public Speaking Competition
Caoimhe won the Soroptimist International Northern Ireland public speaking competition yesterday after fending off 15 fierce finalists from various schools throughout Northern Ireland. After winning the Belfast heat, she was then invited to Hillsborough for the final to deliver her exceptional speech on the NHS and an extempore speech which she had to deliver with only five minutes preparation time. The judges and audience were incredibly impressed with the content and delivery of her speeches and commented that we had a future politician in the making (although she actually wants to be a doctor!).
This is an outstanding achievement for Caoimhe and the school; many congratulations to her.
