Aquinas Grammar

The 2015/16 golf season started earlier than usual with the inaugural Autumn Golf League. This new format will allow those eligible for the Darren Clarke School Golf League to experience competitive golf over the next 5 weeks. Prizes will be awarded based on the best three stableford scores.
Week one was played under testing conditions at Ormeau Golf Club and some of the established players struggled to produce their best form. The leader at this early stage is Conor Curran who produced a commendable 18 points. Matthew Egan follows closely in second on 17 points with the chasing pack a further 3 points behind.

Lessons will continue at Shandon Park Golf Club over the next few weeks. Lessons are available to Years 8-10 and are led by Will Carey, one of the resident professionals at Shandon. Anyone wishing to join the existing group should contact Mr.Quinn in S25.
