‘Best Visiting Company’ award for Aurora at the Young Enterprise Trade Fair in Ballymena

In September, thirteen year 13 students became directors of this year’s Young Enterprise company, ‘Aurora’, and co-ordinated a strategy which enabled us to compile our final portfolio of products which consisted of necklaces, cookie catchers, ‘pot-pourri jars with a difference’ and a range of seasonal items.

Our company proved successful at the Young Enterprise Trade Fair in Ballymena on 3nd December, where we were delighted to win the ‘Best Visiting Company’ award.

We sold many products and achieved great feedback from both our customers and a wide range of judges on the day. Overall we had a very good experience and exceeded our expectations. We now look forward to our next public selling opportunity in the Kennedy Centre in January. We would like to thank our Business Adviser, Derek Anderson and our Link Teacher, Mrs McKenna for their continuing support and guidance.

Grateful thanks also go Peake Blooms and TreatTicket for their sponsorship of our company.
