The first visit of MCC to Aquinas has almost concluded after two weeks of STEM collaboration, sight-seeing, fun and general educational exchange. The students stayed with families of Aquinas pupils, who will in turn enjoy a return visit to Florida in January.

Our guests visited the Giant’s Causeway (see below), the Titanic Quarter, Dublin and other notable tourist venues, like Downpatrick where they visited St Patrick’s tomb.

There is no doubt that, as a group, they enjoyed the hospitality they were afforded and in fact joined the congregation of Drumbo and Carryduff for Mass last Sunday.

It was a pleasure to welcome MCC’s students, teachers and mentors. It was a mutually fantastic experience for both sets of pupils and we hope it will be the beginning of a long standing international partnership. We wish them a safe homeward journey.
