Last night marked the close of our Year 14 students’ time in Aquinas. It was a lovely evening and opportunity for pupils, parents and teachers to celebrate a significant moment in our young people’s lives.

In his homily, Father Grant referred eloquently to The Circle of Life from the Lion King as a way to consider this moment and to remember that The Circle of Life is guided by the hand of God.

Speeches of thanks from the Head Boy, Head Girl, Senior Prefects and Mr Kelly were then heard at the end of the Mass and all enjoyed refreshments in The Mall afterwards.

The sense of community and togetherness was evident and many commented upon this, especially since it was, for some parents, their last association with the school. However, they will always be welcome.
