Belfast City Council held their annual Cross Country race at Ormeau Park on Thursday 3rd April. This also marked the last race of the season for the Aquinas Cross Country Team.

All competitors from Years 8-10 ran well and on some occasions completed the course shoeless!!

The afternoon started with the Year 8 teams. Caitriona Mc Burney and Aedin Murnaghan narrowly missed out on attaining a medal. The boys went a step further. Frank McWilliams (8th) and Malachy Moreland (10th) were presented with medals and their team finished 3rd overall. Congratulations to the team – Frank McWilliams, Malachly Moreland, Eamon Swail and James Gracey who were the top 4 runners.

Not to be out done and to finish a great season off both Annie Hackett (6th) and Peter Gracey (7th) were presented with their medals.
