The Aquinas bar mock trial team faced stiff opposition in a competitive group on their way to the regional final of the competition at Royal Courts of Justice in Belfast on Saturday the 22nd of November.
As usual there was a high standard of competition and, after winning their three trials against St Patrick’s Dungannonn, Limavady and Coleraine High school, the team faced St Dominic’s Grammar in a tightly fought final.
The team rose to the occasion however and emerged victors, booking their place in the national final of this prestigious competition.  The team now travel to Cardiff on the 22nd March.
Each member of the team performed superbly and have a real chance against teams from all over the UK.
