Niamh Kelly, Niamh McCrossan and Amaia Moore with Mr Kelly

 

Aquinas has been informed by CCEA that three pupils were top performing candidates across Northern Ireland in GCSE English Language, Music, Physical Education and ‘A’ Level Spanish.

The School Principal, Mr Barry Kelly said, “I am delighted for the three girls. They represent the pinnacle of all our pupils’ hard work and they deserve a lot of credit for excelling to such high levels.”

Niamh Kelly: first in Northern Ireland in GCSE English Language and second in GCSE Music.

Niamh went to St Michael’s Primary School and is currently studying French, Spanish, History and Mathematics for A’ Level. She says, “In the future I hope to study Law with French at university and maybe go on to specialise in International Law. My dream job would be working for the EU or the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and I would like to live abroad.”

Amaia Moore: first in Northern Ireland in A’ Level Spanish

Amaia went to St Michael’s Primary School and completed her two year A’ Level Spanish course in one year! In addition to this, her A’ Level subjects include French, English and Geography. She hopes to study Law at university either abroad or in Dublin

Niamh McCrossan: third in GCSE Physical Education

Niamh went to St Teresa’s Primary School and currently studies A’ Levels in Music, Mathematics, Art and Design and Home Economics.

Niamh hopes to either enter the teaching profession or become an Art / Music Therapist. She would like to study at a university in the USA.
