On 11th September 2013, 28 Year 13 and 14 Aquinas students welcomed 28 French students, from the Lycée Marguerite de Flandre in Lille. Each Aquinas pupil was paired with a French student and we spent the week together doing group activities such as bowling, a bus tour of Belfast and a day trip to Bangor, as well as almost having a very competitive game of French v. Irish dodgeball (national anthems were sung!). Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed making new friends. On Tuesday 17th we said goodbye to our partners, there were some tears and we can’t wait to make the trip back to France in March!
