Saphara Trip to India
From the 4th to the 20th July 2013, six Year 13 students from AquinasGrammar School will be venturing to India as part of the Belfast Saphara Team. They shall be working with educationally disadvantaged children in India teaching them English and engaging in issues of justice and global citizenship.
The group comprises of Saoirse Cowan; James Durkan; Ciaran Foster; Niall Kelly; Ella McCathie and Amaia Moore.
Before their trip,the team raised a total of £13,385 which will go towards funding for Indian schools, and giving more opportunities to the children who attend them.
For all the support in raising the money, the six pupils from Aquinas would like to thank their family and friends, companies and individuals who gave generously.
