On Wednesday 19 June £300 was raised for the Bredagh U-14 Hurling Team who will be representing Down at the All-Ireland Féile na nGael in Limerick from 5-7 July. 11 of the 24 boys heading off to Limerick are pupils at Aquinas. Mr Kelly was delighted to host a bun sale in the school. There was a great response from the pupils and club members in terms of generous donations of buns and cakes. Thanks to the pupils and teachers from many of our neighbouring clubs and parishes who supported the event.  Many of our pupils are members of Bredagh GAC and particular thanks are owed to the Bredagh-Aquinas girls who did so much to support their fellow pupils and club members. They worked very hard alongside the boys organising, selling and tidying up. There was a great atmosphere and everyone here in Aquinas wishes the boys every success in the Féile. We know that they will do their school, families and club proud!
