Ten lucky Aquinas pupils today visited Methodist College to meet one of their favourite authors – award winner Robert Muchamore. Robert’s latest book “Guardian Angel” has just been published so our pupils joined a packed hall to hear him speak and to

get their books signed. In his own inimitable style he recounted how he first started writing, what his inspiration was for his bestselling “Cherub” series – a spy thriller aimed at the teenage market – and how when his first book “The Recruit” first hit the bookshelves, only a disappointing two hundred people bought it. He has now notched up over a million sales of his 22 titles with his books being sold in more than 20 countries around the world.

“I loved the visit to Methody. Meeting Robert Muchamore was one of my best experiences ever, since he is one of my favourite authors and the speech he gave was really funny. I would love to go on another trip like that again” Medb Wills 10M

“I thought he was very funny. The talk he gave was very good and his fictional descriptions of himself single-handedly beating up 25Liverpoolsupporters were great. It was the funniest talk I have ever heard. We should try and get him to come to our school ” Noah Shively-Blinn 10J
