Aquinas Year 8s lost 22-20 in the semi final of the Vince Halloran tournament to eventual winners Our Lady’s & St Patrick’s College Knock.

Aquinas threw the game away in the last two minutes, after having lead for most of the game.

However, with a panel of 16 players to choose from next year, Aquinas will have more strength in depth.

Last week the Year 8s finished off the season with two wins away to St Pat’s Dungannon.

Daniel Leggett also picked up the Year 8 Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the Sports Awards given out in school after Sports Day.
