Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize
Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize
Pupils from Aquinas helped choose the winner of the Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize, one of the world’s most prestigious awards for science writing. The pupils were among one thousand children from schools and youth groups across the UK who helped choose the winning science book. As part of the innovative judging process the winner was selected entirely by the young people themselves. Aquinas was the only school in N. Ireland selected to participate in the judging process. The overall winner was How the World Works by Christiane Dorion.
The judging panel was Aidan Conway, Dylan Magee, Ethan Murray, James O’Brien and David Tome.
