Flora Aling from Gulu, Uganda visited Aquinas on Monday 5th March along with Rosie Murray the Education Officer from Trocaire. Flora represents Uganda where the focus of this year’s campaign is. Aquinas are linking with Bar Kawach a small village in Northern Uganda where the little boy Daniel who features on the Trocaire box, lives. Flora spent the afternoon in the school meeting the fund raising prefects and speaking to all pupils in the junior school. She has been interviewed by pupils as part of the BBC news programme and their article will feature in the BBC website. We are delighted to welcome someone with first hand experience that will inspire us to raise more needed funds for such a worthy campaign. We also welcome the news the  UK government has agreed to match £ for £ for all money raised in Northern Ireland by tax payers!
