Congratulations to Year 13 student Calum Ball who has reached the final of the All Ireland Linguistics Olympiad.  This highly prestigious competition attracted an initial entry of 341 pupils from throughout Ireland. In order to progress to the final round in Dublin it was necessary to score 67.5% in round 1. Calum scored an amazing 88.5% and now progresses to the second round of the selection process to choose four students to represent Ireland in the International Linguistics Olympiad in Slovenia in July. We wish him every success in the Ireland final which takes place on 20th March at Dublin City University.
