The pupils of Aquinas Diocesan Grammar School have once again excelled in their recent production of ‘West Side Story’, with a talented cast  rising to the challenge of staging such an ambitious production.  The school has developed a wonderful musical theatre tradition over the years, producing such classics as: ‘Oklahoma’, ‘Oliver’, ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, ‘South Pacific’, ‘Hello Dolly’, ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Calamity Jane’.

This year’s performance of ‘West Side Story’ was characterised by energy and colour, creative choreography, excellent musical direction and skilful production work.  The audiences were treated to excellent dramatic performances with wonderful moments of humour and pathos from a cast including seasoned principals from the senior school and rising stars from the younger year groups.
