The prize, also known as the “Hope Award”, was presented at the City Hall last week by the Lord Mayor on behalf of Trocaire in recognition of people or schools who give hope to those who have no hope in the developing world. In order to achieve this accolade, evidence had to be given of: fundraising, education and a sponsorship of regeneration in underdeveloped countries.
