Year 8 and 9 students competed in a Cross Country event at St Genevieves last Thursday.

Medal winners where Ellen Connolly Year 9 who came 1st in her race and Lauren O’Rourke Year 8 who came 3rd in her race.

Just missing out on a medal was Peter Gracey Year 8 who came 4th in his race.

These are all great achievements as this was the first race of the season in preparation for the Co.Down Championships in early February.
