Aquinas pupils, past and present, contributed to the success of both clubs this weekend.  Carryduff Under 16A’s won the East Down Championship playing Saul in a closely contested match, the final score being 1-12 to 0-09 in favour of Carryduff.  Six of our pupils are on the squad with Donal McKeever (Year 12) captaining the team and Ryan McKee scoring the all important 1-03.  The team will now face either Rostrevor or Newry Shamrocks next Sunday in the All County decider.  The main photograph shows (from L to R): J. Bredagh were also successful in their bid to secure Junior Championship honours with twelve pupils, past and present on the squad.  The match against Dromara was won on a scoreline of 4-10 to 0-09.  The first half was a tight affair with Dromara taking an early lead, but Bredagh went in at half time ahead by 1-06 to 0-05.  The squad, with Aquinas connections, pictured below are: Marc Robinson, K.
