‘A’-Level students at Aquinas Diocesan Grammar School have once again produced outstanding grades in their recent A’-Level examinations. Mr Barry Kelly, the school’s new Principal, said he was really impressed by the high standards achieved by the pupils and is looking forward to continuing the great work of his predecessors. Highlights included the 50% of all A2 grades being either A* or A. There were significant individual performances with approximately one quarter of all students achieving straight A*/A grades. The Principal congratulated the students on their hard work and asked them to keep in mind the support of their families and the hard work of all the staff of Aquinas in helping them reach their full potential. Mr Kelly, who was previously Vice Principal in St Colman’s College, Newry, said he was looking forward to leading the school on its continuing journey of excellence.
