Our Year 9 pupils displayed their  talents as public speakers as they debated whether  Martin Luther, the leading figure in the sixteenth century Reformation, was a true reformer or, more negatively,  a renegade. The Year 9 pupils worked in groups of three, challenging, presenting and questioning each other about this controversial historical figure. They were assessed by their peers and teachers on their knowledge, their ability to present an argument and to respond to questions. The debates were enjoyable, informative and entertaining.
