Aquinas language students scoop the top places at GCSE and A Level
Jennifer Clarke in “Top Gear”!
Jennifer Clarke, currently studying German and Arabic at Cambridge, has proved beyond any doubt her fabulous aptitude for the study of Modern Languages, scooping top prize in Northern Ireland in both French and German at A level in 2010. We would like to congratulate her on her outstanding achievement and to wish her every success in her future academic career.
German “Triple Crown”!
Pascal and Sinead with their teacher Mrs Dolan
For the third year in succession Aquinas students have triumphed in GCSE German. In 2008 Jennifer Clarke was the top candidate in Northern Ireland and Martin McBride was placed third. In 2009 Ben Lambon was top candidate and Cassie Moane was placed second and now, in 2010 we are delighted to report that Pascal McBride has been awarded first place and Sinead Meier has been placed third. A well deserved achievement for our outstanding students. We look forward to their continued linguistic success! Well done!
