There are four Data Tracking (DT) opportunities in the year, two of which (DT2 and DT4) are formal, summative assessments carried out during the course of each academic year. This is clearly the formal assessment of learning which is used to inform pupils, parents, and teachers (through formal reporting) of how much the pupil has learned and progressed over the previous half-term. The approximate deadline dates for recording the DT scores on to SIMS (our computer network) are:

  • mid October (DT1),
  • Christmas Exams (DT2),
  • week beginning 23rd March (DT3) – reports and comments for Year 11 will be sent out shortly after 14th April  and
  • Summer Exams for KS3 (DT4).
