Year 8 assessment

The end of year assessment will be as set out in pupils topic/unit booklet;

  1. oral assessment – 10 marks
  2. written coursework project – 40 marks
  3. practical cookery exam – 50 marks

there will be no end of year written test but there will be a file inspection of all year 8 work which needs to be kept for Year 9.

Year 9 assessment

The end of year assessment will be as set out in pupils topic/unit booklet;

  1. oral assessment – 10 marks
  2. written coursework project – 30 marks
  3. practical cookery exam – 60 marks
  4. end of year exam – 50 marks

  • babies/children, weaning
  • teenagers, anaemia

year 10

  2. practical cookery exam – 40 marks
  3. exam  – 55 marks
